Lysimachia atropurpurea
Photo by Mark McDonough Shown is a dark spire of Lysimachia atropurpurea, a species from Greece grown from NARGS seed and overwintering just fine in my USDA zone 5 garden. The plant is about 24" (60 cm) tall, with numerous terminal spires of pinched claret bells. [ back to gallery ]
