Tulipa batalinii

This photo was taken in the waning light of late afternoon
in Marsha Russell's garden.  Only about 3-4" tall in bloom,
when the flowers are closed up in low light they give the
appearance of a tiny cottage tulip.  I particularly like the
soft yet clear shade of lemon yellow.
